Carbon has a commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility in its natural gas and oil producing operations. A large part of Carbon’s commitment to environmental responsibility is in the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from natural gas and oil field production. All well sites are electrified to reduce emissions from internal combustion lift equipment. Gas powered compressor engines have been decommissioned and replaced with electrical motor driven units. In-field pipelines have been rerouted to avoid environmentally sensitive areas. Natural gas transmission pipeline pressures have been reduced for increased safety and integrity. Lease Automated Custody Transfer (LACT) systems allow commingled hydrocarbons to be transported via pipeline, greatly reducing Green House Gas emissions and trucking risks
